Lovely spot with a nice Beer garden. New nice people running it. We stopped by during a cycling trip and it was all very good.

Went to this slightly hidden restaurant (the street in front of it was a construction site) on our bike tour today. The small outdoor area, which is covered with trees, is very cozy but the castle ambience is impressive. The staff and the tenant were very friendly and open-minded. They also created a cheerful atmosphere. The food was very good and also plentiful. The remaining pieces were lovingly packaged for us. We really enjoyed it and would like to come back again.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, you have the feeling of sitting in an old castle. Whether for a family dinner, an evening with friends or as a couple, the food is delicious, I ate the Jägerschnitzel, the sauce is homemade with fresh mushrooms, the fries were perfectly golden brown and the cheese spaetzle were also among the best I've ever eaten have. I'm looking forward to trying more Palatinate specialties from the menu, including the small but fine selection of desserts.
